Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch was an American actor, comedian, and television host. Most recognizable for her character as hostess of Dinner and a Movie (TBS) and environmentalist associated with secular humanism and environmental issues. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times bestseller and an internationally acclaimed actor, was the New York Times's Bestselling author of her memoirs: Whatever You're Doing, Then I'm Sure That You Did An Effort Said Tomato You Say Fired I Speak Shut Up And Fired. The book was also featured on an episode of a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch has served as a frequent host of TBS Dinner & a Movie. Her unforgettable television appearances are Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown as well as hosting WA$TED, a sustainability show on The Planet Green Network. She is a regular guest in PBS Newhour Real Time with Bill Maher and on NPR and also writes Op-eds in the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter as well as satire for The New Yorker and McSweeeneys.
